PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT A PHYSICAL ITEM. This is a digital item and you will have access to download a PDF file once purchased.
The Kingfisher, 2-in-1 hand embroidery pattern was drawn by me and inspired by the Kingfisher I have witnessed swooping above me when cold water swimming.
The Kingfishers embroidery pattern teaches 4 basic stitches and is suitable for an absolute beginner to embroidery but can be enjoyed by embroiderers of all levels.
Templates and full instructions are provided to achieve both patterns in this design: The Kingfisher with hope, designed to be displayed in the hoop and The Kingfisher with crown, designed as a decoration (perhaps for the festive season!).
You will have access to download 1 DIGITAL PDF FILE INSTRUCTION BOOKLET of 14 pages containing:
The templates for manual pattern transfer to fabric.
A comprehensive list of materials and supplies required for both designs.
Detailed and clear instructions for both designs and all stages, from preparing to finishing the hoop.
An illustrated colour and stitch guide for a visual snapshot of placement of all colours and stitches.
A stitch glossary, with close up pictures, instructions and tips for each stitch (4 basic embroidery stitches).
You will need to be able to print the templates (in black and white, colour not required) in order to transfer the design to fabric. The rest of the pattern can be viewed and is best followed electronically.
As this is a digital download, I do not offer returns or refunds, but please do contact me if you have any problems.
This download is for your personal use only. Please do not copy or use for commercial purposes.
