l love this hat!

I designed this hat with a more modern slouchy shape, using the exquisite Harris Tweed which I love to work with in the Autumn and Winter. It is so comfortable and warm as it covers the ears on those cold days.

Harris Tweed is hand-woven by islanders in their homes in the Outer Hebrides and is made from pure virgin wool dyed and spun in the Outer Hebrides.
This is what entitles it to carry the famous Orb Mark certifying it as Harris Tweed.

lined with organic bamboo jersey which makes it beautifully comfortable and environmentally friendly. the hat showcases the beauty in the colours within the weave of Harris tweed. It is a hat that will always stand out in a crowd for its simple good looks.

Unlike most beanies the tweed does not have stretch so I create the pleats by carefully hand pleating the tweed to create the required shape.

Each size is carefully made to give just the right amount of slack to give the signature look and fit.

There is a leather tab and antique bronze button which holds a loose pleat. This sits to the side of the head just over the ear.

The Harris tweed authentication label is stitched onto the back of the hat.

How to measure your head:

-Place a flexible tape measure gently around your head just above the top of the ears, making certain the tape lies midway on your occipital bone (that little bump in the middle of the back of your head).

*Don't pull the tape too tightly or your hat will fit that tightly. Measure 2 or 3 times to be certain.

All sizes available:

Small fits heads: 21"-22"

Medium fits heads: 22"- 22.75"

Large fits heads: 22.75" - 23.5"

X Large fits heads: 23.5" - 24.5"
