This listing is for one of the three mezuzah cases shown. This mezuzah case is meant to hold a Jewish prayer scroll. (The Kosher scroll is not included.) It is hand fabricated from copper, with copper or brass ginkgo leaves and a sterling silver Shin, a Hebrew letter signifying the first letter of the name of the prayer it is to hold.

The ginkgo tree is one of the oldest known living plant species, and has symbolized hope, endurance, and peace in the Asian world for centuries. Its history of longevity and strength applies to the Jewish people. Was it the original Tree of Life?!!

The box measures 3 3/4 inches tall, not including the top and bottom loops. It is 1 inch wide and 1/2 inch deep. It is lacquered to discourage tarnish.

Please specify whether you would like the brushed rose gold-colored copper leaves, the shiny brass leaves, or the flame patinaed copper leaves. Colors may vary from the actual piece to your computer monitor.

Since each leaf is sawed out by hand, you should expect that your mezuzah case will have slight differences from the ones pictured. Their orientation on the box my also vary in order to give the most pleasant arrangement.
