George Michael glass votive altar candle from Flaming Idols. Whether you're a recovering Catholic, a secular Jew, a satanist, a pagan, a witch – or some combination! - this altar candle will fill your queer spiritual needs.
George Michael was a singer/songwriter who first gained fame in the musical duo Wham!. He won Grammy and Brit Awards for his chart topping songs and was a generous philanthropist. George was publicly outed in 1998 when he was arrested for cruising. He responded with a song/music video mocking cops arresting people for having semi-public sex, saying, “I think it’s very important that when people are outed that it’s seen to be a positive thing for the future of their lives. Whatever kind of artistic statement I make … has to say, 'it doesn’t matter.'”
You might light this candle and look to George for inspiration and guidance in: bisexual pride, creating art from a traumatic experience, redistributing wealth
