Each ring is made with high-quality American Solid Gold and is suitable for daily wear. I mill these bands out of a solid piece of extruded gold, so they have no solder seams, and the metal is much harder than a cast or bench-worked piece will be. This ring is inspired by a 1731 Mourning Ring, see the 7th Photo. Made in 18k gold with black enamel these Momento Mori rings were popular in the 18th and early 19th centuries. They remind us of a loss, or that we are all mortal. The hourglass sand is running out on us all.

Each Ring will Be hallmarked as to quality under my maker's mark: AlariUSA (all very tiny)
Each ring has a Red (or another color you pick) nanoceramic coating applied to the ring's background. The etched ridges of the background make the translucent colors sparkle in the sun. It is a stunning ring.

14K Gold is 58.3% gold with the rest being alloys. This metal is the most popular kt of gold in the USA, and is durable.
