STORY

Once the last lesson is over, Sadie put the last book into her backpack, put her headphones on, grabbed her favorite Melody Dino by the hand and rushed to the yellow school bus that will take her home! 30 minutes later she finally got into her room, quickly took everything out of her backpack and started to work on her homework to finish it as soon as possible. Sadie is a very smart girl, she is a kind of gifted kid who can learn everything much faster than other children, so she quickly finished her homework. Despite being a very smart girl, Sadie does not really care about science, she is more into art and music and she spends most of the time drawing on her notebook. She loves dinosaurs and cactuses, that is why most of her art looks greenish and all of her plants are spikey!

There is one very special project she was working on for the last couple of weeks, it is here, standing in front of Sadie’s window: a fresh, newly painted skateboard board! Sadie touched the board with her fingers to see if it has already dried, finally it is dry and ready! She put the wheels back onto the board, took her backpack, Melody Dino and rushed to the local skatepark! While she was going to the park, she noticed a little girl on a rainbow. Sadie noticed her there several times already and even gave her a name, “Emily”, but no one else have seen this girl ever before. Anyway, Sadie entered the park and started to look for someone very special. Just a few seconds later she noticed a skater boy in wide pants and white and green t-shirt, he was riding his skateboard back and forth on the slide of the skatepark, rotating his board like it was a part of him. Sadie was very shy, her hands were shaking, but she took a first step, came closer and called him by his name: “Hey Brendan! This is for you, I made it by myself!” and she presented a beautiful new skateboard with a light green Dino painted on it to her crush. He was absolutely stalled, but not only by how beautiful his new skateboard was, but because he had feelings for Sadie for such a long time! And you know what? This story happened 15 year ago, but they are still together, happier than ever before!

The Friendies are little cuties that live in children’s rooms, in old boxes full of toys. Most of the time, they look like ordinary toys, but they come to life once the room is empty. The Friendies then leave their box on tiptoe and put the toys scattered around the room back to their usual places. Sometimes, when they feel very tired, the Friendies fall asleep on the bed, not making it back to their box. When you find a Friendy laying on the bed, then you clearly think that it was you who put her there. But if you ever look through the keyhole before you enter the room, you will probably see your Friendy silently walking around, collecting and putting the toys away.

These little cuties are great helpers and will be very happy to settle in every children’s room. Your kids are gonna love them! Make a Friendy!

Friendy Sadie with Melody Dino is the tenth doll from the “AradiyaToys Friendies” collection.

Great pattern, a few things that were a little difficult to understand and a few steps that I think could have been combined to simplify the assembly but overall adorable doll!!! Just an FYI for those purchasing the recommended yarn is hard to find (I'm sure there are other brands that would also work, but it was hard to locate this many colors in anything I found locally). I ended up ordering the recommended yarn online and it was over $50 for all the colors to make the doll. Just a heads up on the price if your on a budget.
