1 - Size your press on nails against your natural nail, set them aside in order of thumb to pinky.

2 - Gently push your cuticles back with a cuticle pusher and trim if necessary.

3 - Buff the nail surface, this helps to roughen up the surface and will help the nails stick better.

4 - Wipe your nails with prep & wipe, cleanser wipes and rubbing alcohol works just as well.

5 - Apply a thin even layer of nail glue to the entire nail.

6 - Align your false nail and press down, apply light pressure for at least 15 seconds.

7 - Complete for the remaining nails, try not to submerge nails in water for a couple of hours as this will weaken the adhesive bond.

Soak your nails in warm soapy water for at least 20 minutes, this will loosen the nail and allow them to be gently peeled off. A little cuticle oil around the edges prior to soaking, will also help to loosen them. If there is nail glue residue on both natural and press on nails this can be removed by gently buffing or using an acetone based remover, never submerge the press on nails, use a lint free wipe (natural nail) or Q-tip (press on nail). The nails can be reused.

You can also remove your nails by soaking them in acetone based remover, as the nails start to lift, gently start to peel them off. The nails can not be reused.

To avoid causing damage to your natural nails, avoid using force to remove.

I have sizing kits available in my Etsy store. This is the most accurate way to ensure that the nails will fit perfectly.

Alternatively grab some tape, scissors, pen and ruler.

- Place the tape over your nail and press down either side of your nail.

- Use a pen to mark either side of your nail at the widest point

- Remove the tape from your nail and place on / near the ruler to measure in mm.

- Repeat for all 10 nails.

- Compare your sizes to the size guides on my listings.
