Custom and personalized orders

Anything at AGD can be customized and personalized. (Exception: Profanity will not be completed and order will be refunded.) Many shoppers find bits and pieces of listings they like and want to combine ideas--this is totally doable! The biggest thing to remember is fonts and designs are different sizes, so as long as it fits, it's possible. Want to omit something from a listing? Totally doable. If you are placing a custom order that is not listed in my shop, please allow more time for completion. I love making custom designs that we can create together, but sometimes have to order additional supplies. Once I get the supplies, though, I will have it finished in regular processing time which can be found in my shop announcement. 😘

Gift wrapping and packaging

Each piece is packaged so you feel as if you're getting your own custom gift or it's ready to gift to others! 💘

For fitted bracelets, be sure to let me know your wrist size during checkout. Many items can be customized to fit! For necklaces, keep in mind the size of your neck may make chain lengths vary from shorter to longer. You can always use a fabric tape measure to test out a length or string and a ruler. You can Google necklace length guides to get some images of different lengths. 💖 Chain extenders can also be added to any necklace for a small fee. Let me know if you need one of these added!

Before my own handmade adventure, I bought a lot of handmade from others. I found I was sad when my purchase didn't look new for long. My ultimate goal with each piece's appearance is that it will look nice for years to come. I've done lots of research to produce quality, affordable, unique pieces, and do my best. Remember first off, last on. Try to keep your jewelry DRY. Avoid all perfumes, hairspray, hair products, and other sprays that can effect finishes. And remove your jewelry before bathing or showering. A jewelry polishing cloth is VERY useful for keeping your jewelry looking new. Brass, copper, and Sterling do tarnish over time! Although they do have a lovely patina, they CAN be cleaned up, though. They just require a little TLC.

You can use a black Sharpie to darken the letters back in! This can happen, especially on bracelets & rings, because they are exposed to more with hand washing, working with your hands, etc. Just color away, wait a few minutes and lightly remove the excess with rubbing alcohol. Please keep in mind jewelry should not be exposed to water, lotions, hand sanitizer, or other chemicals. 💚 Sterling pieces are chemically oxidized and hold their color much better.

This style of chain is absolutely beautiful! However, it's fine. Although the links are sturdy, a tiny jump ring can slip through a link at times. Since these AGD chains and findings are stainless steel, they don't solder; so if a dainty chain slips through a jump ring, use pliers to put it together! You may also contact me to purchase a replacement chain if you'd prefer not to reassemble. 💙

Metal Care/Cluster pendants/Adding charms or birthstones

All metal scratches. If this is a concern for you, a rustic finish would be the best option! Keep in mind that for a small fee and shipping costs, I can remove very small scratches and imperfections. Just contact me with photos and then I'll message you back for shipping information. Then, I can set you up a custom listing. Adding multiple charms, pendants, or birthstone channel drops is always an option. Please note that adding other pieces to jewelry may result in light scratching on metal pendants and require a polishing pad or cloth to keep looking nice. Copper jewelry CAN turn your skin green. Some people have more trouble with this than others. Be aware of this when purchasing.

My package says it has been delivered, but I haven't received it. What can I do?

If your order was marked delivered, but you have not received it, please contact me within 5 business days of it being marked delivered. We can discuss the next steps to take in order to either locate the missing package or discuss a replacement if efforts are unsuccessful to locate the package. Please follow the tracking of your order to be aware when it will be delivered. You can also enable delivery notifications on the Etsy app.

If you're trying to figure out how many characters your desired text is, and you don't want to individually count every letter and space, you can Google it or use a character count app. ❤

This listing is for a custom, hand stamped wrap ring with your choice of text and design and a lovely brushed finish. Each ring is adjustable so you may fit it better to your finger.

Aluminum is a great, lightweight metal that doesn't tarnish, yet holds up well. This piece is slightly adjustable, although it shouldn't be frequently bent back and forth, as this can create a weak point in the metal.

Please note that stamps in photos are 1 size and are unable to be larger or smaller. Example: a pig is a larger than a dairy cow. Message with questions.

What is hand stamping?
Hand stamped pieces are individually stamped one letter and one design at a time using premade metal dies and a hammer. Some letters may be crooked or not aligned perfectly. Stamping is not the same as engraved, which is often done with a machine. Each piece is unique and no two pieces will be exactly alike.

How do I care for my pieces from Abounding Grace?
Each purchase comes with a care card. Keep your jewelry away from chemicals, lotions, and water. Remember your jewelry should be the last thing you put on for the day and the first thing you take off. It should not be worn to shower or sleep in. Sterling silver, brass/nugold, and copper tarnish over time. You may polish any of your pieces with a jewelry polishing cloth, extra fine steel wool, or a fine nail buffer block.

Copper and sterling silver can turn your skin green. Some people react to these metals more than others, depending on your own body chemistry. Please be aware of this when making a purchase with copper or sterling.

For rings, you may use clear fingernail polish to coat the metal that touches their skin. It would need reapplied as it wore off.
