Bamboo boards use a premium print. Want it engraved? See our maple board (link below).

A gift for Grandma, or a way to keep her recipe in the kitchen. Send us a photo of her recipe card, and we extract her actual handwriting, even if the card is old, faded, stained, or wrinkled. Her recipe, in the handwriting you know, on a board for the kitchen or the next cheese and charcuterie spread.

It's their real handwriting: every curve and slant, straight from the card.

WHY WE PRINT ON BAMBOO
Most recipe boards are engraved, but engraving fine handwriting has trouble on bamboo. Bamboo changes density across the board, so the laser burns unevenly and small details like light pencil, faded ink and small notes get lost or come out patchy. Fine engraving needs a dense hardwood.

That's why our bamboo boards use a premium print. Their handwriting goes on exactly as it looks on the card: sharp, even and easy to read, down to every note.

Want it engraved? Choose our engraved maple board. Solid hardwood maple holds fine handwriting cleanly and evenly.

One card, a board for everyone: order matching sets of 3, 5, or 7, or more, all from the same recipe card.

Add a title like "Grandma's Apple Pie" in our signature script, at no extra cost.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Place your order and upload a clear photo of the recipe
2. We extract the handwriting, clean away the card lines and stains, and send you a proof to approve
3. Once you approve, we make your board and ship it

Ordered this as a gift with my great-grandmother's handwriting on it. It arrived very quickly, was a great price, and looks really great! The only thing is that I expected the recipe to be etched into the board, but it is just printed on. Not a huge issue, just something to be aware of when purchasing!
