Vintage French Opaline Glass Chandelier: Hand-Painted Roses, Twisted 3-Arm Light

I am offering this really adorable vintage French or Bohemian Glass Chandelier sourced from a recent flea market and dating from around the 1930/50s.

It has 3 arms made from twisted clear glass, each candle cup is painted on the underside with pretty pink roses.

The central opaque column is also decorated with hand painted flowers. it has gilt accents with a gilt chain.

The opaque glass rose, top and bottom are white in colour - ignore if they have a pink tinge in the photos.

The plastic candle sleeves are original as are the sweet little shades which are made from pleated green fabric with a braid trim. (They have a push on rustic metal fixing.)

The photos do not do this justice - it is charming and would be perfect for a little or big girl's bedroom, entryway or smaller room.

Condition - Good vintage condition with some signs of age and use. Some tarnish to the metal generally, a chip to the rim of one of the candle cups, image 9. The shades have small marks, ingrained dust, etc.

NB This is sold in NON working condition and the cable has been cut so you must have it rewired by a qualified electrician before use. It is old cloth covered wiring which is dangerous and must be replaced.
