Will the artwork be shipped securely?

Yes, gallery framed acrylic artworks are packaged in heavy duty custom-made cardboard boxes and wrapped with layers of bubble wrap and protective materials to ensure the artworks arrive you to in excellent condition. Unframed/unstretched oil and watercolor paintings come rolled in rigid protective tubes. I do use recycled packing material to be eco friendly, mostly space fillers.

Can you ship framed paintings to Australia?

Australia has strict guidelines on the importation of plant materials. This includes wooden goods, and therefore covers paintings with wood frames. Unfortunately, this prevents me from shipping framed pieces to Australia. If the painting you are interested in is already framed/stretched, then I can remove the wooden frame. The canvas will be shipped in roll format. You will receive a discount in this circumstance.

Can I request a custom painting/charm?

Of course! I can create an original painting for you based on your preferred size, color palette and other requirements. This takes 3 ~4 weeks. If you wish for a brand new leather charm design, there are a number of steps in creating an entirely new pattern: 1. Concept design 2. Pattern and prototype testing 3. Adjustments 4. Ordering modes 5. Final version Generally this takes a month or two. Price is $199.99+ Please just contact me with your request.

What's the difference between oil and acrylic?

DRYING TIME The major difference between oil and acrylic paints is the speed of drying. Oil paints usually dry much slower compared to its acrylic counterparts. The raw materials used in oil paints include minute particles blended in a mixture of a drying substance, a stabilizer and linseed oil. Acrylic paints are made of a certain pigment combined in a mix of mineral spirits and acrylic resin. LIGHTFASTNESS Oil paints will fade over time. If you’ve ever seen an old painting, you might notice that they appear yellow;this is because the pigment grows visually duller over time and the oil binder shows through. Acrylics have excellent lightfastness. They look the same now as they will many years from now in the future.

Do you accept returns?

For any "in stock" item purchased from my shop, I accept returns. You have 30 days from item delivery to ship this item back to me. Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs and any loss in value if an item isn't returned in original condition. Since shipping cost is included in the original sales price, the original shipping cost is not refundable. Any personalized, customized, or custom order item can not be canceled or returned. DESIGN
This stuffed puffer fish charm evokes a sense of whimsy, adds a fun touch to your handbag - it can also make a humorous gift for the special someone you are thinking of.

A puffer fish can blow up its body like a balloon, with tiny spikes on the surface.I used an ombre effect Italian Impala calf skin to create gradient fish skin, with a darker back and lighter belly. Little notches are cut in the top layer of the leather, to be lifted and mimic the tiny spikes on the skin of the fish.

MATERIAL
I use high standard, first layer, genuine leather - a good proportion of those leathers are imported from Italy. The edge coat, used to seal the edge of the leather, is also imported from Italy.
