Materials: Ceramic

Simple tumblers with rolled rims for general purpose usage. The rolled rim adds reinforced structural strength to the rim, which is typically where chips are most likely to occur with ceramic, and I find makes them pleasant to drink from. The outside of these tumblers are unglazed, but sprayed with a mixture of hand-sifted wood ash to produce a warm, toasty effect on the outside.

I always do my best to ensure the work never breaks in the mail. In the spirit of ecological consideration, I do my best to use biodegradable & recyclable materials where possible.

Most of the time, shipped items will use shredded cardboard as fill. Even though it can be a little messy, I go with this option because it's economical and ecological.

Some of the corks that come with the jars are pretty deep in the pot. If you're intent to use the maximum amount of storage space in the jar, you can cut the bottom of the cork for extra room.

I recommend putting the cork in the jar, as far as you can. Try to wiggle it around a little so it leaves an indentation in the cork. Then, using a serrated knife, go ahead and give it a slice. You may want to do this in a space where you can easily clean up, as the cork may leave shavings on the surface you're cutting on.

I do my best to make certain items as similar as possible. That said, these items are entirely handmade, therefore some variations are to be expected (and appreciated!). The size indicated under listings are approximate averages; size and shape may vary within an inch per dimension.

Due to the unpredictable nature of certain glazes, surfaces will likely have subtle variations from those as pictured. These differences will not have any impact on the safety of the pottery's use.

I'm not currently able to do custom orders for customers. This includes (but isn't limited to): Custom dimensions, custom colors, writing in any form, etc.
