Dead Iris Shop FAQ

Do printed apparel items have special care instructions?

Yes! All items are made-to-order and are freshly printed. Some printed clothing has been pre-treated with solutions such as vinegar. Be sure to wash your printed apparel items first so all print treatments are removed from the fabric. Follow garment care instructions in the item's listing to ensure a long print life. Please note that due to monitor differences and personalized screen settings, actual colors may slightly differ from those on the screen.

One item arrived before the other items I ordered. Is this normal?

Yes! Don't worry, your order is still on the way!
Dead Iris partners with print shops all over the world and some items take longer to print than others. It is very common for multiple items in an order to be printed in different locations and ship at different times.

I only see Men or Women's clothing sizes. Do you have unisex options?

Yes! Most clothing items in my shop can be sized & worn in a unisex fashion.
Generally you will go by what you would normally wear in standard men or women's sizes. Be sure to check out the item's sizing guide in the listing photos. If you need help sizing yourself, please reach out to me and I will be happy to assist you!

I want my purchase to matter. Is Dead Iris Socially Responsible?

Yes! As a small business owner and independent artist, I care about how the way I conduct business affects the world and people around me. All items in my shop are made to order. This reduces the impact of bulk commerce on the environment and uses less of our vital Earth resources to make products. Dead Iris Art is dedicated to fighting climate change and waste.
