Highlights
Laurus nobilis, commonly known as Bay Laurel, is an evergreen tree or shrub that is native to the Mediterranean region. It is a member of the Lauraceae family and is known for its fragrant leaves, which are used as a culinary herb. The tree is also known as Sweet Bay, True Bay, Grecian Laurel, or simply Bay.
The tree can grow up to 50-60 feet tall in the wild, but when cultivated it is more often grown as a small tree or large shrub, reaching up to 20-25 feet tall and wide. It has glossy, dark green leaves and produces small, yellowish-green flowers in the spring which are followed by small, black berries. The leaves are fragrant when crushed and are used in cooking to add a subtle, woodsy flavor to meats, soups, and stews.
Bay Laurel thrives in full sun to partial shade and well-drained soil. It is hardy in USDA zones 8-10, but can be grown as a container plant in cooler climates. It is drought tolerant and can withstand temperatures as low as 10°F. The tree is sensitive to cold and frost, so it is important to protect it from frost and freezing temperatures.
The tree is propagated by seed or by taking semi-hardwood cuttings in summer. It can also be propagated by air layering. It is a low maintenance plant, but regular irrigation during dry periods will help to improve growth. Pruning should be done after blooming to encourage bushier growth.
In general, Bay Laurel is a great choice for adding fragrance and ornamental value to a garden. Its fragrant leaves and attractive foliage make it a standout among other varieties. It is easy to care for and can be used in a variety of ways, making it a versatile choice for any gardener. It is important to protect the tree from frost and freezing temperatures.

One is doing great, but second plant didnt make it. Not sure why. Same every thing, sitting in separate pots right next to each other. Glad one is looking okay. Sad about the other, but gardening is a gamble.
Packaged perfectly and the bay seedling looks healthy.
Repeat customer. Meticulous packaging. Arrived quickly.
I would buy again, nice quality..
