Only the cheekiest of dolls make it into Dottie's Dollie gang, dolls like Vinny! He is a recreation of a real broken antique doll head. Dirty and unloved, discarded and buried as rubbish around a hundred years ago. I repaired his face, and made a mould, so that he had another chance to be cherished!

Vinny was cast by me, then carefully hand-painted with acrylic paint and soft pastels. Finally several coats of ceramic sealer have been applied to protect the painted finish. He has the palest aqua hair, blue eyes and the cheekiest grin!

There is a 15mm safety pin at the back, which has been securely attached with epoxy glue. Vinny's face is approximately 27mm tall, and 27mm wide.

Like all jewellery he should be removed before swimming, protected from heavy showers of rain, creams, perfumes, potions and lotions.
