The planters are vertically distributed giving you extra shade. I designed this pergola as a simple and easy way to build project, you just need patience and follow the steps. The woodworking project is designed on standard timber lengths 8', 10', 12', 14', 16' and 18'.
Posts measurements: 12'- 1/2" x 16'.
Canopy area measurements: 16'-11" x 13'-9 1/2" x height 8'-10".

This is a downloadable PDF sent automatically by Etsy after purchase. The project shows you how to build a 16'x12' (posts measurements) wooden pergola with planters and privacy wall in 22 steps. You will receive a zip file with 31 pdf files. The DIY plans include pdf files with material and cutting list, and also instructions for each step. Measurements are in imperial system - feet & fractional inches.

The materials used have usual timber unique measurements - 6x6, 2x6, 2x4, 2x3, 1x6, 1x4, 1x2, 1x1.
This PDF is a printable version on ledger size 17"x11", I recommend on printing the project in a specialized shop.

The plans were very specific and easy to follow. I know nothing of woodworking and could follow them, but I had a team help me assemble it since the wood was quite heavy. The images are extremely detailed. I would recommend it.
