A vintage green majolica cake plate dating from the mid century. It was manufactured by the acclaimed French ceramic company GIEN and has been decorated in a classic shade of dark green glaze. The surface of the small plate features a traditional grape vine leaf pattern in raised relief and the border has an elegant basket weave design. The underside has been stamped with the GIEN FRANCE maker's mark.

DIMENSIONS:
8" in diameter (21 cm).

CONDITION:
The majolica plate is in very good vintage condition with light signs of age and wear including fine glaze crazing line. There are no chips or cracks.
