This is my most beloved collection of handmade scrapbooking journals. Soft covers, embroidered, collage and textile art.
A soft and cheerful journal. The cover is embroidered by Valeria Martin, an indigenous Otomi technique. Impeccable work. Beautiful, isn't it? I hope we can collaborate again!
Where do the birds go to rest? That is the initial question.
Can you observe them, do you know their processes of migration of some, protection of others?
I like to watch them pass by in flocks, very early before the sun goes down to their nests, I observe them and with images I reflect on them. I invite you to collect yourself and write, paint, create in privacy, if you need to.
The journal, bird-themed and entirely handmade, has on its cover textile collage, small vintage embroideries and other embroideries made by me. The book was built day by day, with slow stitches and an enjoyment of life that I hope is transmitted in its pages.
I will give you a pack of embellishments and cards to personalize it.
It will have pockets inside to hold your paper treasures.
I have decorated the cover with vintage fabrics, recycled embroidery, dyes, and each book is unique and unrepeatable.
It closes with a decorative velvet bow that wraps around it.
25 cm x 18 cm // 9.5 in. x 7.5 in.
You have more than 50 sheets, 100 pages (counting both sides of the sheet) different and plenty of room for you to write, paste images, play and develop your creations.
Pages of paper ephemera, handmade paper, collage, stamps, etc.
The notebook contains pages with different techniques I use stamps, stencils, spontaneous stains, thematic prints that I buy from other artists especially for each book.
I like to convey freshness and passion in my papers.
You can use this journal in many ways: gratitude journal, prayer journal, art, art therapy.

Why a fetish?
Because I put care in the quality of the materials and passion in the manual processes because you can ask me to personalize it because like you, I value the materiality of a book and I know how to use it.
The objects that can decorate the photo are not included in the sale price.
