Bourbon Whiskey Barrel Staves, cleaned
Item highlights
Seller's description
These are genuine used bourbon whiskey barrel staves and are sourced from a local Kentucky distillery. All of the char have been removed and the staves have been cleaned. The char is extremely messy and it tends to stick to everything so we just save you the headache. Although if you would like a uncleaned stave just note in the order comments.
Sizes vary from 1'' to 5''+. Measurements are taken at the center of the stave which is the widest point. The larger staves have a bung hole and some include the stopper. You choose the size of the stave in the drop down menu. If you need a specific size message me and leave a note on the order and I will try my best to fulfill the request. If you're needing a bulk order message and I will do a custom order.
The staves measure 34'' to 35'' and are approximately 1'' thick. The staves may have defects and vary in color and tone. Bourbon barrels generally store bourbon from 4-20 years so marks and defects occur in the rick house over time. Staves may have cracks and nicks. These are not perfect pieces of wood. If you’re looking for authentic used bourbon staves these are for you. If you’re looking for a perfect piece of material you would need to find new never used pieces of staves.
Note: The staves with the bunghole, do not come with the removed piece center piece of wood.
