How to clean crochet baskets?

They can be washed in the washing machine, I recommend extra care (e.g. a wash bag). It can also be handwashed with warm water and white vinegar. Air dry.

Are the crochet baskets safe?

The cord I recommend using in the patterns are 3mm JUNIOR BRAIDED CORD, by bobbiny. It is 100% cotton. Cotton has a short fiber length so will break pretty easily if toes or nails were to get caught, but that is highly unlikely in the first place with this braided cord. Because it is so tightly braided, there aren't loose strands or fibers to catch nails or toes even after wear. But what if they chew it? If they chew it, it will not come unraveled! So, there won't be any loose strings even then. However, as with any item for your pet, monitor use and remove from use if it has become significantly damaged
