Highlights

An amazing embroidered wall hanging circa 1920s possibly earlier.
This is a long piece with beautiful embroidered imagery on a hessian tightly woven base.
The base hue is a deep beige.
The edges have been hand stitched down all the way around.
The embroidery is beautifully executed, the base has some surface marks in some areas - none that I feel detract. Overall a gorgeous piece in fabulous condition for its age. This could certainly be mounted in a frame beneath Perspex or glass, or left as is.

Measurements
79” long by 24 1/4” wide approximately.
