A sock ruler is an almost indispensable tool for knitters. But what if you're on the go?
Unfortunately, most sock rulers are too long for small project bags.

This sock ruler was designed for classic socks knitted from the cuff down. It was intended to be handy yet have all the necessary functions.
You can use it for yarn weights 4f, 6f and 8f, and also for baby sizes. Therefore, you don't need four sock rulers.

With the Pocket Sock Ruler 4-in-1, you have your ultimate tool at hand everywhere.

With the pocket sock ruler you can measure when you can start knitting the toe of the sock.
To do this, simply slide the sock ruler into the curve of your knitted heel and read the desired length from the markings.

The middle scale (cm) makes it easy to measure the length you've already knitted. The ruler is equally helpful for measuring the leg length from the cuff to the heel.

To avoid needing a separate sock ruler for each yarn weight, a separate column with sizes 22-47 has been added for each yarn weight.
For orientation, a table showing the cast-on stitches for each yarn weight and size is permanently laser-engraved on the back.

Despite careful compilation of the tables, adjustments may be necessary due to the yarn or needles used.

If you are unsure which needle size you are currently using, you can easily check it with the needle gauge (holes below the columns for yarn sizes).
At the same time, the sock ruler also provides you with a scale (10 cm scale, on the back) for your gauge swatch.

The sock ruler is made in Franconia. It is engraved and cut from approximately 3 mm birch plywood using a precision laser. The edges are sanded after laser cutting to prevent the sock from snagging when pulled over it.

Wood is a natural product, therefore variations in color and possibly the presence of knots may occur. Unfortunately, it is not always possible to completely avoid knots. The brown sheen along the cut edges, like any smoky odor, results from the processing and is not a reason for complaint.
