Our single precious Labradorite earrings, updated as small paperclip dangles! They make a great gift!
We love these stones for their small size and subtle flash! The earrings dangle approx. 1" long (25.4 mm) with Sterling Silver Ear Wires. Each gemstone is a genuine semi precious labradorite, unique, approx. 4 mm diameter, rose cut faceted and bezel-set by hand in Sterling Silver.
WHY LABRADORITE?
Labradorite was "discovered" in the 1770s at Ford Harbour, Paul Island, off the coast of Labrador, by Moravian Missionaries. Myths describe an Eskimo warrior freeing the lights from within a stone by his spear, creating the Northern Lights, leaving some lights behind in Labradorite stones. Some say Labradorite fell from the Aurora Borealis, leaving its flashing lights trapped in the stones.
Also known as Magic Stone, Merlin Stone, and Black Moonstone, Labradorite is a powerful protection stone, creating a shielding force and protecting against negative energy and misfortunes, bringing mental clarity, stimulating intuition and self-awareness, and enthusiasm. -- AIG, AGTA, and various sources.
