All measurements are taken with the item lying flat. To determine if the item will fit you, choose a similar item you own from your own closet, lay it flat on your bed or floor, and measure it across from underarm to underarm (UA to UA), waist, widest part of hips, and length from shoulder to bottom hem. Compare these measurements to the piece you'd like to purchase, and voila!
