The pigment number is PO75, cerium sulfide, a nontoxic inorganic Rare Earth compound.
The listing is for 10 grams of pure pigment.
We have shown two other swatches for comparison purposes:
Schmincke Turner's Yellow (a warm orange-yellow) & also real Vermillion Cinnabar (mercury sulfide), a classic orange-red.
van den hooven orange dark is vibrant and opaque, but doesn't have that overwhelming tinting strength as does –for example– Benzimidazolone.
Nontoxic.
