Why are shipping charges high on certain items?

Our shipping charges are based strictly on the item dimensions, weight, and distance from us here outside of Pittsburgh, PA as set by USPS. We do not add any hidden packing or handling charges. So while an item may be lightweight, it could be awkwardly sized which drives up the charges. There are times that we are able to ship for less via FedEx. Please contact us for more details.

Why did my order arrive in an old box?

We try to reuse shipping boxes and packaging materials wherever possible! As a shop that sells vintage, and upcycled items, we are concerned with the environment and do our part to reduce, reuse, and recycle!

Do you take custom orders or orders for large quantities of your handmade items?

As a very small operation, my dad makes each of our handcrafted items individually. It is difficult for him to take on custom orders, or large orders without affecting his ability to keep us in stock of our usual items. So at this time, we do not take custom requests and cannot accommodate orders for large numbers of a particular item.

Materials: Vintage Hard Shell Suitcase

This is a great vintage suitcase! Perfect alone, or as part of a stack, vintage luggage is a popular home decor trend and are great to use as an end table. This vintage alligator patterned briefcase would make a great photo prop and will fit in nicely with your neutral decor, or industrial farmhouse decor.

This hard shell suitcase measures 20 1/2 inches long, 12 1/2 inches wide-not including handle, and 5 3/4 inches deep. He features a dark black leather body with alligator pattern, and a brown plastic handle. He has 2 locks but no keys. His interior is beige plastic/vinyl/perhaps contact paper as shown in photos. He does not have any brand markings or tags. He is vintage, used and shows some signs of wear from normal use including scuffs, tears, stains on interior, areas of discoloration, and overall worn appearance. His flaws merely add to his charm!

Listing is for ONE vintage suitcase. Styled photo props are not included.
