*Why linen?*
A 2003 study has affirmed linen’s historical reputation for healing and sacred qualities.
Dr. Heidi Yellen explored how different materials interact with the body’s natural electromagnetic field. Linen stands out with an impressive resonance of 5000 Hz, while synthetic materials such as polyester and nylon resonate at just 15 hz.
This elevated frequency makes linen especially suited to intentional and intuitive work.

Wash/Care instructions: Linen is pretty sturdy, and so are cotton threads. This cloth can be machine washed at a high temperature. However, always place it inside a mesh laundry bag to protect the embroidery.

Note that linen has a natural skewness to it. We iron and straighten the cloth before embroidering, but a bit of the skewness always remains.
