KeaLite is a product used to cast decorative shadows on walls and add ambience to a dark room. Enjoy movie night with unique decor or use as mood lighting for your bedroom. Where will you cast your shadow?
How Does It Work?
Step 1 - Place the KeaLite Stand on a flat surface, about 1 to 2 feet away from a blank wall or window. The front of the KeaLite Stand must face the surface you wish to cast a shadow on.
Step 2 - Place any KeaLite Shadow Caster into the front slot of the KeaLite Stand.
Step 3 - Place a tea light candle (sold separately) within the round opening of the KeaLite Stand and light it.
Step 4 - Make your surroundings as dark as possible and see the decorative shadow appear!
Common Questions
Q: Where can I use KeaLites?
A: Almost anywhere! The only requirements are to have a dark environment with little to no light sources and a vertically flat surface to project onto. Common places of use include, but are not limited to bedrooms, living rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, basements, offices, and windows.
Q: Can I use an electric tea light candle instead of a traditional wax tea light candle?
A: Yes, however it is recommended that you remove the plastic flame shaped covering over the light bulb. The covering tends to dull the light cast by the electric candles, thus making the shadow appear dull and undefined.
Q: How big do the casted shadows become?
A: About 2 square feet before the casted shadow starts to become undefined and difficult to make out.
Q: Can I use KeaLites outdoors?
A: As long as it is dark, yes. However, please be mindful of weather conditions. It is not recommended to use KeaLite products during the presence of strong wind, rain, storms, or any other form of problematic weather.
Q: Why the name KeaLite?
A: The KeaLite Stands are shaped in a way that looks like an old fashioned keyhole. Tea light candles are needed to make a KeaLite work as intended. Keyhole + tea light: KeaLite.
Q: What are KeaLite Products made out of?
A: All KeaLite products are made out of Polylactic Acid (PLA) and are 100% biodegradable plastic.
