Is your slippery bar of soap escaping your grasp? Or are you tired of wasting little bits of soap as your bar gets too small to hold? Collect them all, large and small, in this hemp soap saver bag. Measuring 5x6 inches, it is large enough to hold a 7 or 8-ounce bar of soap. Use the whole bag to lather and scrub your skin, then hang the bag up to dry.
This hemp soap saver bag is made with 55% hemp, 45% organic cotton french terry. The drawstring is 100% hemp.
*Bar of soap not included.
Why hemp? Hemp is a durable fiber that is naturally anti-microbial, meaning it combats funky mildew that can get an upper hand in cotton fibers. It is also environmentally friendly as it is farmed with less water, land, and pesticides than cotton requires.
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS:
Hemp is a durable fiber. You may wash and dry the soap bag the same way you do your cotton towels. I do recommend that you use a detergent without chemical fragrances, dyes, or fabric softeners. You should avoid all fabric softeners (including dryer sheets). These will not ruin your bag, but they will coat the fibers and make them less absorbent (and will pollute the air in your home and neighborhood). Bleach will make the fibers break down and wear out faster, but a little splash of bleach in your washing machine once a month shouldn't hurt. If your towels or wash cloths start to get stained or get a funky smell that won't wash away, try drying them outside on a line (sunshine is great for battling stains and odors). A few drops of tea tea oil in the wash will also help kill any mildew that gets an upper hand in your soap saver bag.
