Folk art is a big inspiration for me. Birds with decorative floral elements is one of my favorite things to doodle. So much so that I had ot include two different kinds of birds in this limited edition collection!

Each wooden ornament is sketched out, digitally designed, cut by a laser, sanded and finally hand painted with acrylic gouache. They’re coated with a matte finishing spray for protection and numbered, signed and dated by me, illustrator Sarah Walsh. The ornaments are limited edition / 5 in total were created in this design. Each one is imperfect with mild variations because they're hand painted by human. :) There are 8 designs total. Pansy, Rocking Horse, Clown Frog, Pink Pine Tree, Folk Bird Green Belly, Folk Bird Blue Head, Blue and White Cat and Pink Soft Serve. Creating these ornaments has been a folky dream come true. I'd love making these to become an annual tradition so people can collect one every year!
