Leaf ankle boots made from carded wool using the ancestral technique of felting with soap and water.
NB: this pair shown in the photos is no longer available but can be made to order, contact me to choose your wools and find out the production time!

The wools come from a spinning mill located in Tyrol. Bergshaf wool is in fact renowned for being very resistant, which is essential for making slippers.
Pistachio green and caramel colors.
Silk was integrated using the nuno felt technique (fabric in Japanese).

Two caramel-colored wool cords decorated with sewn leaves entwine each slipper for an optimal fit to the feet.

The soles are in velvety leather (green color).

They can be worn barefoot or with socks, in cold or hot weather!

Felted wool is in fact an extremely solid and thermo-regulating material: you will therefore have warm feet while not sweating; felt is indeed very breathable. Comfort and pleasure for the eyes and feet guaranteed :)

Easy maintenance by hand with soap and water directly on the affected area or in a basin.

So nice! First, I have to say that Gabrielle was amazing to work with. She helped me to customize these boots to my husband's feet and pick the colors. I had done the order incorrectly at first too, since it was a little bit different when shipping to the US. However, Gabrielle helped me through the whole process and she was so kind!! The boots themselves are beautiful and seem very well made and good quality! My husband said that they are so comfortable, it feels like he isn't wearing anything on his feet at all! He wears them almost every day!

I reached out to Gabrielle as I liked her style. What I received back was attention to detail, a finely crafted product, and despite having to ship to Canada in a postally challenged time, a very timely delivery date. She made these to order for my feet specifically and since receiving they have only left my feet when I'm outside in deep snowdrifts. My feet are warm, not sweaty and I WILL be ordering a second pair. She also included a small treat for me in the box. Couldn't say enough good things about this vendor.

Magnificent ancestral work. I now own handmade, custom-made felt slippers. I can put my orthopedic insoles in them and my feet are warm. Communication with the designer was great. I highly recommend !
