The attachment “mechanism” is NOT metal. It’s a flexible strap system that wraps around whatever you put it on. It can be removed and used over and over again on different shoes, clothing and accessories.

******Price is for one pair of ACCESSORIES only – SHOES, scarves, chains, etc. shown with the accessory are NOT included. This wrapping “shoe clip” may NOT be used on CLOSED-toe pumps or shoes, but could be used on a peep-toe pump. Please contact me if further clarification is needed.

DO NOT SUBMERGE IN WATER as most pieces are made with some metal. Slight wetness is OK, but prolonged or consistent moisture could cause rusting.

DO NOT LEAVE IN A HOT CAR as there is a slight possibility of the glue melting if left in enclosed areas with concentrated, high temperatures.

For flip flops, they work best on strap widths of 5/8” to 1 ¼”, however; they CAN be used on thinner straps, just criss-cross the attachment straps or wrap them around the flip flop strap TWICE. For other sandal types, the width of individual straps is not so important because you may be weaving the attachment through, or around the straps differently than you would a flip flop - see the flickr link referred to above.
