*Please read description carefully as this piece has some condition issues and is being sold as is.

Antique pocket watch style engraved locket with a tintype photo of a woman and child. The locket has engraved detailing on both front and back. The initials "CH" are engraved on the sash. The top such button releases the catch and opens the locket, similar to the design of a pocket watch. The push button still functions and locks tight. This piece is most likely gold filled but it is not marked.
Inside there is an early photo of a woman in period dress holding her baby. The photo is magnetic suggesting it is a tintype. I have not made any attempt to open the glass which is held in by tiny screws.
*Condition: The interior is heavily scratched on one side and it has punctured to the outside so there is a hole (see photo #6). It does not effect the wearablilty at all and is barely noticeable when worn. The finish on this piece is in good condition considering its age; a few small spots of wear. Price reflects condition.
