Mini Hip Pouch sewing pattern - this is an original sewing pattern written in English- NOT a finished item!

This is a fully illustrated sewing pattern complete with full scale templates for a neat small hip bag. Suitable for adults and children 8yrs+.

This pattern is a great introduction to making the larger Hip pouches. It omits the front pocket but uses the same original construction technique - fully lined, no hand sewing, and no seam binding - magic!

The finished product is beautiful quality and fully lined with NO exposed seams. NO SEAM BINDING and NO HANDSTITCHING! A great make for experienced bag-makers keen to learn new methods of assembling and finishing their bags.

SKILL LEVEL: INTERMEDIATE: you'll have made some bags already, and have experience of reading sewing patterns and bag making techniques. If you want to make the larger Hip pouches, this is a great introduction to mastering the necessary skills for those larger projects.

FINISHED DIMENSIONS: Pouch: approx. 10 1/2" x 4 3/4" high. Waist circumference: adult 32-45" / child 26-34".

The Pouch has one main zippered compartment, an optional zipper pocket on the back for added security, and an internal zipper pocket which is required for the construction method.
