My Wheat berry packs measure 20" long by 8" wide. They are made with 100% cotton muslin and filled with Montana grown certified chemical free wheat. I sew the packs into 4 chambers for even heat/cold distribution. They are completely flexible to mold to every curve, so you can get the heat any where it's needed.

The removable covers are made with pre-washed 100% cotton flannel or baby corduroy to prevent "sweating" from the moist heat. You get a deep penetrating moist heat without feeling damp. They are completely machine washable and dryer safe.

To use as a heat pack: Microwave for 3 minutes on high. (Microwaves can vary, so you may need to start with 2 minutes if you have a new or high wattage microwave.) The heat can last up to an hour.

To use as a cold pack: Place pack in a zippered plastic bag and place in freezer for several hours. Pack can be stored in the freezer as well. When used as a cold pack, the wheat stays completely free flowing and pliable.

Wheat berries are superior to other grains (corn, rice, flax or buckwheat) for use in microwavable heating packs. They retain heat longer and have no unpleasant odor. My wheat packs last for years and I and my family use ours almost every day during our 6-8 months of cold weather. There is nothing better on a cold night than snuggling up with one of these packs!
