SVG file to cut a versatile single piece gift box, confetti box SVG, wedding favour box svg, party favour box svg, Cricut compatible files

Here are three SVG files to enable you to cut this simple but versatile little gift box in three different styles. Use it at size to make confetti boxes or wedding or party favour boxes. Enlarge it to make a bigger box for cookies, confectionery or other small items. Cut it as large as you can on A3 to make an unusual gift box for all sorts of things.

You are supplied with three different SVG files: a plain version, a version with heart-shaped cutouts and a version with star-shaped cutouts. Each file comes into Design Space at a size which will cut from one sheet of A4, and made at this size creates a box which is approximately 48mm square at the top and 195mm long. I think this size is perfect for confetti or a wedding favour box.

Make it as large as you can from a single sheet of 12" x 12" card and you can achieve a box which measures approximately 60mm square at the top and 245mm long.

Make as large as you can from a single sheet of A3 and the box measures approximately 70mm square at the top and 280mm long.

Make smaller boxes from something like 250gsm card, larger boxes from 300gsm+.

Watch the video if you need help with Design Space and then assembly is super-simple: make all folds towards the inside of the box, and then apply glue or tape to the RIGHT SIDE of the glue tab that runs down the length of the box and join it to the opposite wall, glue tab on the inside of the box. Fold in the plain flaps, and then the heart-trimmed ones, and tie with ribbon as shown in the photographs on this listing. So quick and easy but such a pretty box when finished.

This SVG was designed for the Cricut Explore and Maker and tested in Design Space. The functionality of it in other systems and used with other machines cannot be attested to. Please do your research and do not buy the SVG if you're not sure it will work with your system and machine, as no refunds of digital files can be given.
