How do I put my track together?

1. Do not fit pieces together until you are sure you want them together! 2. Arrange pieces in alphabetic order, to make the track shape shown. (Ref. last photo) 3. Press connections together by hand on a hard surface like a table or floor (this will take some force). Sometimes trying one on top of the other will work better than the other way around. 4. Any connections not fully engaged (flush with each other) may be tapped with a rubber mallet while on a hard surface to bring them flush. 5. Take care handling assembled track, it will not appreciate being dropped! 6. Hang on the wall using double sided foam tape, 3m command strips, screws, nails.. etc. Hang from at least 4 evenly spaced points to spread out the weight.

What do I hang my track with?

Velcro type Command strips work best, use at least 4 of them spread out evenly around the track to support the weight. Some larger tracks may do better with a few extra strips. If the track needs to be removable for cleaning, the velcro type Command strips work great to allow that. Normal Command adhesive strips can also be used and will put the track flush against the wall, but may be tricky to remove. They can also be hung from nails or screws, but take care to support the track in at least 4 places. You can also drill thru the track on center and use black screws to mount it if desired, again in 4 places minimum. Do NOT use sticky tack, blue tack, etc.. It won't hold.

Can you make ______ track?

Yes - I can make any track, but it will take some time to design it, lay it out, and print it. If you need a track that I don't have listed, message me and I will look into it for you - unfortunately due to current time constraints I need to stick to big name tracks that are popular and will be purchased multiple times - sorry!

I put my track together wrong, how do I get it apart?

Very carefully! On a table, hang the joint over the edge of the table. Hold one piece down tightly on the table, and press down on the second piece - take care to only push straight down. This will take some force, just like when you put it together.

How hard is it to add LED backlight?

Its pretty easy - peel and stick. Getting it to curve is the hardest part, but not difficult. See photos/instructions in the LED listing for how to curve it. Takes about 30 mins if you are overly careful like I am. Do be sure to let the LED strip warm up to room temp before installing it so its nice and flexy and the adhesive can stick best. ...And the mounting brackets just clip onto the track!

This track is Very BIG, over 44 inches (1118mm) across diagonally!

Track outline is 3/4 inch (19mm) wide, 1/2 inch (12mm) tall. It would look awesome on your garage (or living room) wall!

3d printed in gloss black PLA plastic, with smooth beveled edges, and finish line detail make it stand out.

This is the ideal size to hang on your wall, big enough to get noticed but small enough that it can be paired with other tracks to really make your garage look awesome!

Hangs on your wall using your supplied double sided tape, 3m command strips, or simply hang from nails or screws. Recommend minimum of 6x mounting points evenly spaced around the track to support it.

3d printed, and as such may have minor imperfections that don't affect how it looks and are only noticeable up close. Can be smoothed, filled, or painted if desired, but it doesn't need it to look awesome!

Printed in pieces (13x, with assembly letters) due to the large size, which fit like puzzle pieces and simply snap together (very firmly) for a permanent assembly.

3. Press connections together by hand as you would with puzzle pieces on a hard surface like a table or floor (this will take some force). Sometimes trying one on top of the other will work better than the other way around.

4. Any connections that are not fully engaged (flush with each other) may be tapped with a soft faced hammer or block of wood while on a hard surface to bring them flush.

5. Take care handling assembled track, it will not appreciate being dropped! (ask me how I know... - I did not have good luck using sticky tack to mount the first prototype)

6. Hang on the wall using double sided foam tape, 3m command strips, screws, nails.. etc. Hang from at least 4 evenly spaced points to spread out the weight.
