Because almost all smartphones have their speakers located at the bottom, our design takes full advantage of this placement. When you place your phone into the wooden dock, the sound travels downward into a carefully carved acoustic tunnel inside the solid wood base. From there, it naturally flows upward and is naturally amplified as it exits through the gramophone horn. This completely manual process beautifully converts the standard digital audio from your device into a warm, rich, and room-filling acoustic tone, bringing a vintage touch to your modern music.

Will my smartphone fit in the GramoiPhone? Does it work with a phone case?

Yes! Our universal wooden dock is thoughtfully designed to accommodate almost all smartphone models, including all iPhone and Samsung Galaxy series. The resting slot is comfortably wide enough to fit phones with most standard-sized cases. As long as your phone's speaker is located at the bottom of the device, the GramoiPhone will perfectly amplify your music.

Once your handcrafted GramoiPhone passes our strict quality inspection, it ships directly from our logistics center in Northvale, New Jersey, ensuring fast and reliable delivery across the US. Order processing typically takes a few business days, and transit times vary slightly based on your exact location. You will receive a tracking number the moment your package leaves our facility.

How much does the GramoiPhone actually amplify the volume?

The GramoiPhone is an elegant, passive acoustic amplifier. Because it does not use electricity or batteries, it does not electronically boost the volume like a modern Bluetooth speaker. Instead, the physical shape of the wooden tunnel and the vintage horn naturally enhances the acoustic resonance. It naturally boosts the volume by about 40 to 60 percent, but more importantly, it filters the digital audio into a warm, rich, and vintage tone. It is absolutely perfect for filling a room with relaxing background music, jazz, or podcasts.

Caring for your GramoiPhone is very simple. To clean the solid wood base, a soft, dry microfiber cloth is all you need to remove dust. You can occasionally use a natural wood-safe polish to maintain its beautiful luster. For the antique-finished metal horn, simply wipe it gently with a soft, dry cloth. The sound is unfortunately totally "tinny", although the volume is amplified, it just sounds modest. For this price I would have expected something better, and the wooden base was not in the color ordered..
