This listing is for a non-personalised sample of our stunning DIY Pocketfolds with hand-pressed foil detailing. All are available in full quantities with customised initials/monogram/logo. Please see our other listings (listed below for ease) for each separate colour.
Each pocketfold is individually pressed by hand using a traditional foil blocking technique to produce the most beautiful, sophisticated touch of luxury to your pocketfolds.

This listing is for a sample with the VP initials as shown in the images. We use foil blocking / hot foil stamping to press them into the pocketfold. This traditional foiling technique is all done by hand to create a unique finish with each one being printed one at a time.

YOUR OPTIONS EXPLAINED

You may wish to create your own invitation sets but not have access to this specialist foiling technique. This is where we come in with arguably one of the most luxurious effects that can be applied to card. It provides eye-catching elegance and glamour adding a luxurious, formal feel to any wedding stationery.

Like with letterpress, a custom metal block is created and used to imprint letters or a design onto the pocketfold. Instead of using ink, a foil film is positioned between the block and the card. The foil is pressed into the card creating a beautiful foil imprint. The contrasting card texture, imprint, and shiny or matt foiling bring your stationery to life.

WHAT LETTERS/DESIGN CAN I HAVE?
Our samples are pre-pressed and not changed in any way. There is a limit of 2 of each colour per customer. The foil colour will be whatever is currently in stock, but we are happy to include a swatch of another foil colour. Please just add a note to your order.

This listing is for a sample with the initials VP on it. You can use our other listings to order customised pocketfolds where each block is custom made and therefore unique to your order. You tell us what initials you’d like to have on the pocketfolds, and we’ll help to create it. You can even provide your own monogram or logo if you like. There are limitations to size and detailing but we would discuss this with you in detail when you order.

WHAT’S INCLUDED?

A random generic sample in the pocketfold colour of your choice that is not personalised in any way. It will be stamped with one our VP initials designs. Max 2 of each colour per customer.

POCKETFOLD COLOUR:
We currently have 11 standard colours to choose from.
Kraft brown pocketfolds are 280gsm and feature a darker shade on the front with a slightly paler reverse. They are made from recycled card and shade variations are normal. Other colours vary from 270gsm – 300gsm and the colour is the same both front and back. All are of a beautiful quality. BUTTON MAGNETS
We have some fabulous little round button magnets that make closing and opening the pocketfolds a doddle. Simply stick these onto the inside of the flap and in the corresponding position on the closed pocketfold. If you request these, we’ll glue the pocketfold for you so that we can be sure the magnets are in the correct position. If you’d prefer to have it all left flat, please add a note to your order and we’ll include them separately so that you can try it out yourself.

POCKETFOLD FLAT OR GLUED
Pocketfolds are supplied either flat/unglued or pre-assembled by us. If you have a preference either way, please just add a note to your order. Otherwise we’ll ensure at least one in each order is glued for you. To assemble them yourself, we recommend using either a strong glue or double-sided sticky tape. The only other things you need are time and patience!

FOIL COLOUR
We offer Gold, Rose Gold, Copper, and Silver foiling as standard but there are many other foil colours available, including matt colours, when placing a full order of customised pocketfolds. Samples will be with whatever foil we have in stock, but we are happy to include a swatch of another colour if you like. Just add a note to your order.

SIZING

Sizes can vary slightly from batch to batch (+/- 2mm) because heated machinery can expand causing minor changes. Subtle variations in cutting and folding can also occur.
When folded:
5 x 7” (12.7cm x 17.7cm)
Envelopes (not included) are slightly larger than 5x7” (13.3cm x 18.4cm)

Additional Card A/Large is approx. 11.6 x 16.6 cm (same size as invitation)
