This lovely little gold-plated locket has a detailed little brass turtle adhered on the front. It opens with the hinge at the side and there is space inside for a photo, secret message or little hand-stamped heart Initial. Suspended from an anti-tarnish gold plated chain with a 14k gold filled spring clasp close or choose a gold-filled chain. Locket measures 22x17mm.

All metals tarnish and dull over time and all plated metals will eventually wear. It is recommended to keep jewellery away from water, chlorine and sauna or any chemicals such as hairspray, perfumes, lotions, etc. Take off when working out or sleeping as sweat can react to the plating. After wearing, clean your jewellery with a cotton ball or a very soft cloth to remove any dust and dirt it has acquired. Store your jewellery in an airtight ziplock bag to prolong it's life. Brass items will tarnish over time, they can be polished back to a full shine.
