Item arrived in box, but the styrofoam was all broken into pieces and clearly had been put into the box in that way when it was first boxed up. Little white bits were everywhere, including getting into the parts of the boombox where you can't get them out without opening the whole thing up. In addition, the boombox was absolutely filthy and it had old batteries still inside it, also dirty and they looked like they had been in there for years and were going bad at the ends. I have not tried to use this boombox as it needs more cleaning than I can give it. I guess one learns. I paid way way too much for something that belongs in the trash and is going into the trash now. I did send the seller a message, but honestly what you can say when the item is not the clean one that was pictured and it was shipped with old batteries.

Interesting review! Honestly we just re-use old packing materials, because = earth. It feels really obtuse to be buying brand new plastic packaging products that work no better than recycled products. Styrofoam is styrofoam and it doesn't need to be be brand new to protect your boombox. Something you likely would have found out if you bothered to plug it in and use it! It's an excellent piece, and I'd recommend donating it with the working batteries rather than throwing it in the trash, but based on your review I'd say you and I are on different wavelengths. If you require certain packaging for aesthetics, feel free to reach out to shippers before you purchase a product, I'd have been happy to explain my process so you could take your business elsewhere. Better luck in the future!
