Will the bookmark strings warp the pages of my book?

Under regular circumstances it’s pretty unlikely. The strings are thicker than paper but are still very thin. I can only see there being a problem if you, for example, put something heavy on top of the book with a bookmark in it, or if the book got slightly damp from humidity.

Each individual listing tell you what the recommended care instructions are for the item. I do also try to include a care instructions card when I ship each item. In general, spot cleaning or hand washing are my recommendations for any item I sell, as it helps the item to keep its shape and quality.

What do I do if my order's tracking hasn't been updated in over a week?

The USPS occasionally loses packages, which I understand is very annoying. However, there are some steps we can take before refunding or replacing (if possible, not all items are replaceable) your order. As outlined on the USPS website (https://www.usps.com/help/missing-mail.htm), if it's been a while since your package's tracking has been updated, file a help request form, which will be forwarded to your local post office. If it's been a week since you filed the help request form and your package still hasn't been found, you or I can file a missing mail search request. A week after that, if your package hasn't been found and the tracking updated, I will refund or replace your order.

I purchased a digital download pattern but I can’t find the download link, what do I do?

Etsy doesn’t allow you to download digital items on the mobile app, so in order to download my patterns you’ll need to use a computer (I believe you can now use the website on your phone but a computer is more reliable). On the Etsy website go to “Purchases and Reviews,” scroll down to your digital item order, and there should be a button on the right hand side that says “Download Files.” Once you click on that, it’ll take you to another page where you can directly download any digital items you purchased in that order.

This mushroom bookmark crochet pattern is an intermediate pattern that teaches you to make two different absolutely adorable little mushroom bookmarks.

This pattern is also available on my website (comicsamscrafts.com) and my Ravelry! This listing includes the English, French, and Spanish versions of the pattern.

The mushroom is made like an amigurumi, and then a chain string and tassel are added to make it a bookmark.

This pattern includes both mushroom types--the domed red cap mushroom and the flat-topped tan mushroom.

There really is no gauge to this pattern, but the finished mushroom is about 3/4 inches tall and the string is about 10 inches long. The string size is entirely customizable, so you can make it as long or short as you want.

This pattern requires knowledge of magic loops, chaining, slip stitches, and single crochet stitches. It is worked in continuous rounds. Working with crochet thread and small hooks can be difficult for beginners, so keep that in mind if you're new to using crochet thread. This pattern does not teach you how to crochet in general and assumes you are familiar with the basic stitches.

You'll need a 2mm crochet hook and about 5 yards of red or tan size 10 crochet thread, 8 yards of off white size 10 crochet thread, and 1 yard of black size 10 crochet thread. You'll also need a needle (I use a sharp embroidery needle, not a yarn needle) to weave the ends in and add the black lines to the stem, poly-fil or other stuffing to fill the mushroom, and scissors.
