About Canadian Ammonite

Canadian ammonites are fossils that have been found in Canada, specifically in the province of Alberta.
Canadian ammonite gemstones are known for their iridescent colors, which are caused by diffraction of light as it passes through the stacked layers of the replacement minerals. The colors can range from blues and greens to reds and purples, and each gemstone is unique in its color and pattern.

About Ammonite coating

The ammonites coatings can help to stabilize the shell and prevent it from becoming damaged or broken during handling. They can also protect the shell from dust, dirt, and other contaminants that can accumulate on its surface over time.

About Ammolite Triplet

An ammolite triplet is a type of gemstone that is made up of three layers of material, including a thin slice of high-quality ammolite, a quartz cover on the top, and a shale backing.
The quartz cover helps to protect the ammolite from damage, such as scratches or cracks, and also makes the gemstone’s hardness higher to meet the hardness requirements of the fine jewelry setting.

About Caring

Ammolite is a beautiful and valuable gemstone that requires proper care to maintain its appearance and durability. Here are some tips for caring for ammolite:
1.Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface of the ammolite gemstone. Avoid using any hush chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as they can scratch the surface. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners.
2.Storage: Store your ammolite jewelry in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight or heat. You can use a jewelry box with individual compartments or a soft pouch to prevent scratches and damage.
3.Avoid exposure to chemicals: Avoid exposing your ammolite gemstone to chemicals, such as hairspray, perfume, or cleaning products. These chemicals can cause discoloration or damage to the gemstone.
4.Wear with care: Avoid wearing ammolite jewelry during activities that could cause it to get scratched or damaged, such as sports or heavy manual labor.
