Custom Lightsaber Install Service (GHv3, GHv4, CFX, Proffie)

This listing is for a Custom Lightsaber Install service on an empty hilt or as part of a full Lightsaber Conversion. There is a FAQ at the end of this description which may answer some of the questions you have. Contact me prior to placing any order so we can chat about your saber.

*Please Note, this listing is not for a new lightsaber, it is a service provided where I install the internal electronics. In order to perform this service I require an empty hilt supplied by the customer, or a lightsaber you would like to have converted. The blade is NOT included. There is a separate listing for a Neopixel blade in my shop if you need one.

The features of this service include:

Golden Harvest V3 Phase 4 Install:
• GHv3 Phase 4 soundboard, comes with 15 sound fonts.
• Built in premium speaker or bass speaker.
• In hilt Neopixel connector.
• 18650 rechargeable battery, holder and chassis.
• Momentary switches, one or two depending on the hilt for ignition, effects and soundfont cycling.
• Possibility of having an accent LED or crystal chamber for hilts that allow it.

CFX Install:
• CFX soundboard, comes with 12 sound fonts.
• Built in premium speaker or bass speaker
• In hilt Neopixel connector.
• 18650 rechargeable battery, holder and chassis.
• Momentary switches, one or two depending on the hilt for ignition, effects and soundfont cycling.
• Possibility of having an accent LED or crystal chamber for hilts that allow it.
• Bluetooth capability is possible and will be an additional charge, contact me first before ordering so we can chat about your saber.
• OLED display capability is possible and will be an additional charge, contact me first before ordering so we can chat about your saber.
• "Force" magnetic activation is possible and will be an additional charge, contact me first before ordering so we can chat about your saber. (Magnetic ring not included.)

Proffie v3.9 OS7 Install:
• Proffie soundboard, comes with the 6 stock sound fonts.
• Built in premium speaker or bass speaker
• In hilt Neopixel connector.
• 18650 rechargeable battery, holder and chassis.
• Momentary switches, one or two depending on the hilt for ignition, effects and soundfont cycling.
• Possibility of having an accent LED or crystal chamber for hilts that allow it.
• OLED display capability is possible and will be an additional charge, contact me first before ordering so we can chat about your saber.

I will be purchasing all of my parts from different vendors such as Saberbay & The Custom Saber Shop. My ability to acquire parts for each individual build is subject to their stock availability, please be aware that some installs could be delayed depending on what they don't have stocked. I will be in constant communication with you and keep you posted.

If you need an install done for a Thin Neck Lightsaber (i.e. Obi Wan) I charge a small amount more depending on the hilt due to the extra work getting everything to fit inside the hilt.

There are 2 options for the speaker that you can have in your lightsaber: Premium and Bass. Both can be very loud. Premium speakers provide a more crisp sound. Bass speakers will provide deeper sounds and more of a rumble.

If you are looking to have a lightsaber converted to include an upgraded soundboard please choose the "Conversion" option. The cost differences here are associated with required conversion kits needed to properly install on the lightsabers. Again, please contact me prior to ordering so we can chat about your saber.

For custom conversion installs I will not order the parts until I have confirmation that the hilt has been shipped to me.

If you have an empty hilt, I will need photos of the hilt. I will not order the parts for the install until I have personally received the hilt. I will need to take precise measurements of the hilt to ensure the correct parts before I order them.

If you request a refund after I have purchased materials I will decline all future business with the buyer, I am strict to follow this policy as this costs me a lot of money and time to process post order refunds.

Shipping Instructions:

• You will need to package up your lightsaber/hilt and ship it to me at your expense. I will utilize the original box you send to send it back securely.
• Please remove any batteries before shipping your saber to me (Conversion).
• When you are packing your saber please take care to protect the hilt. The blade in this case doesn't really matter as it is being removed (Conversion).
• Once you pack and ship the saber, please notify me and send me the tracking number. Once, I receive the notification, I will order parts for your conversion. Parts for empty hilts will not be ordered until I receive and inspect the hilt.
• If I do not have communication of any kind, I will refund the order after 48 hours.

FAQs:

Q: How long does an install take?
A: Typically between 4-6 weeks for a conversion install and 5-8 weeks for an empty hilt install. Any install should not take me more than 8 weeks to complete and I will be as transparent as possible and even update you with photos.

Q: Will my lightsaber come with a blade plug or blade?
A: No, the your fully installed lightsaber will not come with a neopixel blade. If you need one, please see the "Custom Neopixel Blade" listing in my store.

If your lightsaber came with a blade plug, it will be sent back with your lightsaber. I will not provide one if it was not there.

Q: Do you do any weathering services?
A: I can do some light weathering on the exterior of the hilt to make it look used. Message me for more information.

Q: Do you install lightsaber staffs? (i.e. Darth Maul)
A: Yes. A lightsaber staff requires 2 soundboards. Please contact me to chat about it if you are interested in a staff install. We will have to do a custom order.

Q: Can I get my saber with a kill switch or a recharge port?
A: Yes, I can install a kill key or recharge port at an additional cost. Some hilts have a space where the buttons are or in the chassis.

Q: Can I have an illuminated switch installed?
A: This depends on the hilt, but it is definitely something I can do. It would be an additional charge. I can install a pixel switch to mirror the blade or a standard illuminated LED switch.

Q: What kind of switch will my lightsaber have?
A: Your saber will have a momentary switch or switches depending on the hilt. if you would like pixel switches or illuminated switche it’s just a bit extra.

Q: Will my lightsaber come with a battery or battery charger?
A: Yes, your saber will come with a 18650 PCB protected rechargeable battery. You can always add on a recharge port as well. It will not come with a charger.

Q: Can I have a hilt ordered and sent directly to you for an install?
A: Yes, as long as you tell me which hilt and I can have accurate measurements/photos of the hilt prior to determine install.

Q: Can you install and configure the soundboard with soundfonts that I would like added to the saber?
A: Yes. if you would like me to add specific soundfonts to the saber, I can if you purchase the fonts and send them to me or I can factor the price into the total and purchase them for you. I can also create blade styles for you (Proffie). these would be an additional charge.
