Then quick! - treat your room to this unique 'Deathcap': handmade with recycled newspaper and card using traditional paper-mache techniques. There is no mould involved, I just sculpt as I go and in this way every mushroom I craft is unique. One of the deadliest mushrooms on the planet, i just had to have a go at crafting this world famous iconic fungus. (The gills were a real challenge - every single one is hand cut and glued into place!) Studying photos of my own collections I've made over the years, I painted this in acrylics, mounted it on a hand made paper-mache trophy base and finished with a selection of preserved and dried mosses for a little touch of habitat. It has a plush green felt backing with secure eyelet for wall hanging. (The pre-drilled hole allows the model to be mounted flush to the wall)
