Sisyphus Automata - Turn the handle and watch Sisyphus attempt to push the boulder up the hill.

This is a digital file. You will not receive a physical model or physical files of any sort in the mail. It will be available for instant download. The files are Zipped which will need to be unzipped on a desktop computer.

There will be 9 SVG files in 4 different wood thicknesses (2.5mm, 3mm, 3.175mm, 4mm) and a 83 page instruction booklet with 100's of easy to follow photos. There are also test cut files and instructions on how to assemble the little test cut piece.

You will only need 1 thickness of wood to make this model and nothing else.

Files included are

2.5mm thickness of wood.
You will need to be able to cut 30cm x 30cm on your laser cutter.

3mm thickness of wood.
You will need to be able to cut 36cm x 36cm on your laser cutter.

3.175mm (1/8th inch) thickness of wood.
You will need to be able to cut 38cm x 38cm on your laser cutter.

4mm thickness of wood.
You will need to be able to cut 48cm x 48cm on your laser cutter.

At 2.5mm thickness the overall model will be about 30cm high, 28cm wide and 10 cm deep.
At 3mm it will be 1.2x the original size. At 3.175 it will be 1.27 times the original size and at 4mm it will be 1.6 times the original size.

I can also make custom size cutting sheets for you. For example if your laser can only cut 25cm by 60cm for 3mm material or something like that I can try and make a custom file that will work with your cutting dimensions.

★★I do not have experience with CNC machines or DXF files so I will not make them★★
I can make PDF files or Adobe Illustrator files for those who are interested in them.
I strongly recommend that you only buy these files if you have some knowledge about how to resize SVG files for your laser cutter. There are 1000's of different machines and wood types so these files may not work straight away. They may need a size tweaking which you can do in illustrator/Lightburn/Inkscape (free) or any similar software. I do not recommend that you resize the files for wood smaller than 2.5mm.

This model usually takes me 1 to 2 full days to make.

Feel free to make and sell finished and assembled products only, except on ETSY.
You are not allowed to sell the automata as a kit for people to make themselves.
Do not sell or distribute this file in anyway. You may only sell finished products.
If you would like to sell a finished product on ETSY please purchase an ETSY license.

Please use the TEST CUT file first. If that file works then you are good to go! I have had customers point out in the past that sometimes there is a scaling issue when opening in Lightburn. UPDATAE - February 2023 - A kind customer has pointed out that there was a strange line appearing on SHEET 3 of the 3mm version. I have fixed 1 tiny point which should clear up any unnecessary lines appearing in the file. I have also done the same for the 2.5mm SHEET 3 just in case! The files have been added to the original download if needed. If you have already downloaded the file please send me a message and I can send you the new file!

UPDATE - March 2023 - I noticed that the test cut instructions file was just a repeat of the original instructions! The test cut instruction file is now corrected! If you need the test cut instruction PDF please send me a message and I will send it to you~
