Bring On The Pioneers, History of Hand County, South Dakota is a wonderfully complete history of the County. The first 192 pages are devoted to that history, beginning “Before The Whites” moving on through “1888-1900 Disaster & Depression”, “Depression Days and the New Deal” ending the history narrative with an “epilogue and Prologue, Recent Years” . Pages 193 through 638 are family histories and photos.

CONDITION: Very good condition. The cover is clean and legible, practically no shelf wear or bumped corners. All pages are present, tight and clean although the bottom corner of the text block shows a bit of finger smudging where it has been fanned. There is a large, handwritten presentation inscription on the free front endpaper from Christmas 1978.
