Handcrafted Cat Window Perch with Plush Bed - Solid Wood

Handcrafted Cat Window Perch with Plush Bed Included

DESCRIPTION:
Our handcrafted window perch + coordinating plush cushions are 100% handmade with a focus on sustainably sourced materials. The wooden perch is made from solid wood which is treated with pet-safe stain + sealer, in a shade to compliment each cushion. The perch is secured with four heavy duty suction cups which make it simple to attach to any window in your home. The suction cups are fastened on with thick woven wool rope which increases the overall strength and weight limit of the perch. Each suction cup is able to hold up to 10 pounds making the perch sturdy enough for any cat under 25 pounds. The cushions are stitched with velcro strips which attach to the wooden base to prevent your cat from sliding off!

Our cushions are designed with durable fabrics resistant to multiple washes and cat claws, so your cat will be able to enjoy them for years ! Each cushion is lightly filled with soft polyester which provides that extra bit of added comfort without being too bulky and uncomfortable for your cat. Best of all, the cushions are washable and have a tag sewn in for easy hang drying! Our fabrics are sourced with quality scrap + overstock fabrics, therefore the cushion patterns/designs are limited and always changing.

DESIGN:
Our handcrafted window perch and coordinating plush cushions are 100% handmade along with all of our other available products. We create designs to complement the modern home while also keeping your cat's enjoyment in mind. The floating design helps cats feel cozy and protected while also saving valuable floor space in your home. As the owner of three very finicky Himalayan cats, finding cat products that my cats actually enjoy can be a challenge! After wasting lots of money on store bought products that my cats never seemed to use, I decided to start making my own. Best of all, my products are designed to blend seamlessly into your space so you're not bothered by gaudy cat products that can be a real eyesore to the aesthetic of your home.

INSTALLATION:
The cat window perch comes fully assembled making installation a breeze! The first step is to securely attach all four suction cups to the desired window. It is important to clean and dry the window and inside of each suction cup prior to application. Ensuring that both the window and suction cups are free from grease and debris will enhance suction and help to keep the seal secure.

If you find yourself having trouble getting the suction right, you can moisten the inner rim of each suction cup with either Vaseline or water to help enhance contact. For an even stronger hold, use a hairdryer on high heat for a few seconds once the suction cups are in place, this helps soften the cups slightly and create a tighter seal. After heating, press firmly around the edges of each suction cup to remove any air bubbles and ensure full contact with the window.

Then simply attach the velcro strip located on the underside of the bed to the coordinating velcro strip on the wood base. Press firmly and your window perch will be fully secured and ready for your cat to enjoy!
