A trendy hip take on the girlfriend necklace with a small teal green heart charm layered behind a golden brass sunburst. It sits upon an 18" vintage rolo chain. I love the sweet and sassy mix in this piece making it a great gift for girlfriend!!

To create the rich teal green color, the brass heart charm is patinated through a process of acid dips that speed a color change on the surface of the metal, similar to what you see on bronze sculptures or old copper rooftops. Patina, by definition, is for something to grow beautiful with age. The brass sunburst is given a bright golden, brushed surface. Both pieces are sealed with a clear coat to prevent tarnish and rub off.
