late 1960s early 1970s red knit dress with gold lurex metallic threads throughout. Nylon zipper at back, with three hooks at collar back. 3" belt loops but no belt. The dress is fully lined with nylon tricot. the fabric is knit into cables and flat sections, and somewhat scratchy due to the metal threading. They have used hem tape at the bottom to enclose the lining to the outter fabric, but there is 1 1/2" of dress fabric in the hem if you were looking for more length. Beautiful column shape that will stretch to showcase curves.

Condition: excellent vintage condition

Labels/tags: An original Mr. Frank of New York. blue ILGWU (1964-1973). Dry clean only

Measurements: dress form is set to 34" Bust, 27" waist. lots more stretch available. This dress will fit Small to large and figures that span several sizes because of the stretchiness!
-bust from pit to pit: unstretched 15.5 - 20" fully stretched
-waist from seam to seam: unstretched 13" - 18+" fully stretched
-hip from seam to seam: unstretched 14" - 22+" unstretched. I popped these on my hips at 41" and there is plenty of more room. I can still pinch 2 inches of fabric on either side. (8 inches more)
-overall length while on dress form 52 1/4"
